A mouthwatering and proudly fruity Syrah based wine from Hawkes Bay, New Zealand. It's got lots of blackberry fruit in the nose and mouth, and a good measure of cracked black pepper character - typical of Syrah (Shiraz) grown in a more temperate climate. A small inclusion of the white variety Viognier gives the wine beautiful, slightly floral perfume.
