Wine Tasting Bristol & Bath | Prosecco & Italian Sparkling
Calling all bubble lovers! There's much more to prosecco and the sparkling wines of Italy than you might think...
Join us for a fun, relaxed and interactive masterclass of mouthwatering prosecco and other quality Italian sparkling wines - including Italy's answer to Champagne!
As well tasting different styles, quality and price points of Prosecco (including a taste of Italy's highest awarded Prosecco) you'll sample a range of fine Italian sparkling wines, exhibiting some of Italy's best in a variety of styles.
We'll give valuable tips on how to buy prosecco, how to read and understand labels, how to store and serve to keep the all important bubbles at their best. We'll also teach you how prosecco and other sparkling wines are made and explain how the different styles and quality levels are acheived.
You'll be amazed and delighted to discover the diversity and quality of Italian sparkling wines as we 'blind' taste to remove any preconceptions. We'll also partner a few of the wines you taste with some Italian nibbles to show their food-matching potential as we go.
The tasting lasts two hours and includes a tasting of prosecco and other fine Italian sparkling wines, Italian cheese, crackers, an experienced wine host, an introduction to Prosecco and the world of sparkling wine and tasting notes to take away.
