Champagne & Sparkling Wine
Wine Tasting Bristol & Bath | Champagne & Sparkling
Let us entertain, inform and inspire you with a luxurious tasting of Champagne and other quality sparkling wines from around the world.
Some wines will be made in the same way as Champagne, and others not - and there will certainly be one or two surprises in store as we taste 'blind' to compare them and see if you can spot which is the Champagne when tasted next to Prosecco, Cava and other quality sparkling wines.
We'll give you essential wine tasting and buying tips as we go, and we'll include an award-winning English Sparkling Wine so that you can see for yourself if it lives up to the hype of recent years.
This bubbly two-hour session includes:
- Six sparkling wines from around the world (including Champagne)
- Three food samples to taste with the wines
- An introduction to sparkling wine tasting
- An overview of how Champagne and other sparkling wines are made
- An introductory guide to the differences between sparkling wine styles
- Helpful hints and tips on buying bubbles and tasting notes to take away
This event often runs on the same day as our Food & Wine Matching Workshop, so why not come along to both sessions and make a day of it!
THIS EVENT MAKES A PERFECT GIFT - You will be given the option to select your purchase as a gift in our checkout area, we will then send you a gift certificate by email or post to present to your guest.
